Panser is intended to serve as an artistic platform that supports freedom of speech and the expression thereof according to the belief that this is important for a healthy community. Freedom of expression, according to the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa under the Bill of Rights is an important right of all South African citizens and the citizens of many other countries. We explicitly reject any harm done to any individual by any other individual, belief or system of power.
It should be noted that none of our work/material/art are intended as propaganda for war, incitement of imminent violence or advocacy of hatred that is based on race, ethnicity, gender or religion, and that constitutes incitement to cause harm according to Section 16(2) of the Constitution. It is our intention to promote understanding and support true human dignity, true equality, true freedom and true justice for all. We encourage the extension of equal rights and equal opportunity for everyone regardless of their race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identification, political affiliations, physical abilities and believes that individuals should be judged on their contributions to build and uplift communities and the quality of their work, rather than on superficial attributes such as their physical appearance, the language they speak or where their origin.
